Waxing Moon

The Western astrological calendar turned from Taurus into Gemini today.

Geminis are notorious smooth-talkers. They're charming and oh so cute! Represented as the two-faced twins, they're often sociable chameleons, loving a variety of company and changing shape to fit their changing scenes. Since there's a shapeshifter in each of us, tonight is an ideal time to dust off one of our alter-egos.

Are you a secret superhero? A closet math nerd? Use the fresh current of Gemini juice to spruce up a soul aspect that could use a little play.

Poppets are a magical staple for self-exploration. Think voodoo doll sans stick pins and minus the harmful intentions. Tonight's magical adventure involves making a poppet of sorts... Fandango-style.

This means, of course, you'll need a small flat-bottom paper bag. Use your Gemini-inspired charm and woo one from the cashier at your grocery store if you don't already have one handy. Craft scraps will make the best accessories, but you could squeak by with crayons and random objects from around your home. Glue stick? Check. Scissors? Check.
