Waxing Moon

Two weeks ago you drafted an oath of sisterhood. Tonight's waxing moon bears witness to your words. Words carry magic — the energy of intention. The universe is always listening and endeavoring to bring us exactly what we ask for. You've heard the adage "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." Sometimes it takes a while, but rest assured that what you vocalize with power and certainty — and back with action — becomes your reality. When staking any claim or making any commitment, it's best to take the time necessary to ensure you're willing to put your mojo where your mouth is.

Gather a few ingredients before you begin. Some stems of freesia, a favorite March flower and an early spring bloomer, evoke the essence of trust and friendship. A 3x5 card cut in half easily fits in your wallet so you can carry your commitment with you.

Pull out your paper from the ritual on March 12. What did you write in the company of the goddess Nepthys? Does it still resonate? Modify your oath as you need to.

When you are ready and comfortable with your words, write them on the card. Place the card before a vase holding the freesia.

Say aloud:

In perfect love and perfect trust I affirm this spiritual promise:

[Read your oath.]

May these words grow in power,
as the moon grows fuller hour by hour.

Seal the statement with a power snap. You are committed!

Introduce your circle of women friends to this ritual if they're open. Witnessing each other's commitments deepens and strengthens your connection.

After 13 weeks of Moonday magic, you may find yourself eager to design a ritual of your own! Go for it!
